Selected Works is a UK based record label focused on releasing quality reissues of lost rare records and the cream of up and coming talent from all over the world. We believe in analogue music primarily, releasing limited edition runs of vinyl and other formats.

We also sell quality second hand vinyl records through the shop and have many rare records from our many digging trips throughout the world.

SW LP 001 - THE BLACK HAWKS - THAT'S HOW IT HAPPENED
For Selected Works first LP we are releasing a holy grail of South African Garage Rock. An extremely rare oddity, The Black Hawks produced an amazing album on the CBS blue label imprint in 1969. Full of rawkus garage rock, and jangly instrumentals this record is the perfect debut for the label. Record is released on a run of 100 coloured vinyl rercords with tip on jackets, as well as a run of 400 black vinyl records. In association with Gallo records.
SW LP 002 - BALTHVS - MACROCOSM
Our second release comes from the extremely talented BALTHVS. The Colombian band has produced in Macrocosm a wonderful blend of Psychedelic Rock, Pop and Cuban Rhythms, concocting them together into and extremely catchy fusion, not to be missed. Released in association with Cubensis records.
SW LP 004 - THE BEATERS - LOST MEMORIES
For our fourth release, we shall be reissuing the classic South African record from the legendary Beaters, Lost Memories. Fusing R&B, Funk and Soul this collection of tight instrumentals was initially released on CBS in the late 60s. This band would later morph into the legendary South African outfit Harari.
